Time for institutions.
An essential, elegant and discreet watch designed to represent the identity of one of the principal institutions of the Italian Republic.
In August 2025, a watchmaking project was developed for the Italian Chamber of Deputies, personally overseen by Antonio Artiano.
The brief called for balance. The watch needed a recognisable institutional presence without becoming ceremonial or excessive: a formal object suited to representation, yet discreet enough to be worn every day.
This led to a deliberately clean design language: a dark dial, essential hour markers, a classically proportioned case and the Chamber’s symbol integrated as the identifying element of the project.
Representation without excess.
In an institutional project, value does not come from the number of elements added, but from their restraint. The Chamber’s symbol becomes the focal point of the dial; everything else is reduced to what is necessary for clarity, balance and recognition.
The chosen movement is Swiss quartz, consistent with the brief for precision, reliability and practicality. The strap is made from leather tanned in Italy, completing an object conceived for both formal and everyday use.
