CONI · PARIS 2024 · MILANO CORTINA 2026
One identity. Two Olympic chapters.
A coordinated pin program developed across two Olympic appointments, translating multiple disciplines into one recognisable visual system.
The project begins with a simple but demanding idea: many disciplines, one identity.
Across Paris 2024 and Milano Cortina 2026, the pins were conceived not as isolated pieces but as parts of a coordinated family. Each discipline needed its own recognisable sign while remaining immediately connected to the wider CONI identity.
Shape, iconography, enamel, colour, metal finish and proportion therefore become components of the same design architecture.
From many disciplines to one system.
The work becomes most interesting when the complete set is viewed together. Individual differences remain visible, but the collection reads as one coherent program rather than a sequence of unrelated objects.
For Milano Cortina 2026, this logic was applied to the eighteen Italian winter disciplines, extending an approach already developed in the Olympic context of Paris 2024.
A pin is small.
The system behind it is not.
